Biography
Stuart Threadgold’s trajectory into the school of architecture commenced at Scotch College, Swanbourne. The Dallas Fort Worth Architect graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Architecture) and Bachelor of Architecture (Honours) in 1995. Since that date, the School of Architecture has maintained its top 25 global school ranking internationally. Renamed to the School of Design and the Built Environment , it’s re-organized the undergraduate degrees to a Masters of Architecture.
Prior to establishment of threadgold architecture + construction extensive experience was gained at award winning architectural offices; including Overman Zuideveld (now trading as Zuideveld Marchant Hur Architects and Neil Cownie Architect), Design Inc, Banhams Architects, Griffiths Architects et al. With over thirty years in the construction industry, the Dallas Fort Worth Architect has delivered successful building outcomes across all buildings classes, including; upmarket individual homes, multi-residential developments, mixed-use developments, community and medical centers, shopping centers, offices and retail developments and hotels.

Previously appointed as an advisor to the State Government to assess energy efficiency and Environmentally Sustainable Design principles on state government buildings. Threadgold Architecture values green building principles and consistently integrates them and new technologies to all projects to deliver coherent and considered construction outcomes.
With thirty years in architecture, Stuart received a scholarship in Masters of Construction Management at University of Texas Arlington. The Dallas Fort Worth Architect has extensive experience and expertise in all areas of architecture practice. Successful outcomes are delivered across: custom home builds, multi-residential developments, mixed-use developments, medical practices, community centers, shopping centers.
The architecture studio’s extensive experience includes:
- site selection and analysis, assessing planning and building legislation;
- developing architectural brief;
- designing sketch plans managing sub-consultants;
- evaluating architectural design alternatives;
- design development and value engineering;
- interior design and detailing including finish selections/schedules
- preparation of working drawings (including specification);
- managing bids/tender process and post tender evaluation of bids/tenders;
- superintendence of builder/general contractor during construction.
Threadgold architecture maintains it’s professional responsibility for Continuing Professional Education of staff through AIA membership and other professional associations.
